The fine print, in plain words.

1. What we provide+
Gourdgeous Porches delivers fresh holiday trees and greenery to your home. You build each order: a fresh-cut Fraser fir from 3/4' to 12/13', a look (the ribbon, ornament and pick colors on the tree) or the tree undecorated, and any add-ons — an interior tree, tree lights sized to each tree, door wreaths, garland runs, interior tree stands and floor protection mats.
All work is outdoors. We do not enter your home. An interior tree is delivered to your porch or entry like the rest of your order; carrying it inside and setting it up is your responsibility.
Our base service is delivery (drop-off) of materials only. Decorations arrive boxed for you to place. Orders do not include design or setup; Seasonal Removal, our January removal visit, is sold as an add-on service.
Design is available by quote only. It is not sold as an add-on at checkout.
Commercial and community entities — including HOAs, property managers, and businesses — are served by custom quote. Contact us to discuss scope and pricing; these terms apply to commercial engagements except where a signed proposal states otherwise.
2. Service area & season+
We currently serve select ZIP codes in the Denver / Front Range (CO), Phoenix / Desert Southwest (AZ), and Omaha–Lincoln (NE) metro areas. Eligibility is confirmed by ZIP code at checkout; we cannot accept orders outside our published service area.
Holiday booking is open in the Denver metro. Omaha–Lincoln and Phoenix are not booking holiday orders yet. Deliveries run on Saturdays, November 14 through December 19 — you pick your Saturday at booking, each date closes the Sunday before it, and capacity is limited each season.
3. Booking & payment+
Payment in full is required at checkout. There is no deposit and no balance due later — your order is confirmed once payment is received.
Because trees and greenery are seasonal, perishable, and ordered in advance based on confirmed bookings, your payment reserves inventory specifically for you.
4. Payment, pricing & sales tax+
We accept payment through our secure online checkout. The tree is priced by height; add-ons and services are priced and stated separately.
Applicable state and local sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Tax treatment varies by jurisdiction (Colorado, Arizona, and Nebraska each tax differently, including local rates); the rate shown at checkout controls.
5. Cancellation & refunds+
All holiday sales are final. Your tree is cut and your decorations are bought for your order ahead of delivery, so there are no cancellations or refunds, for any reason. Payment is in full at checkout.
Moving? You get one free transfer to another Denver-metro address if you ask at least 7 days before your delivery Saturday.
6. Scheduling & delivery+
You choose your delivery Saturday at booking. Delivery dates may shift due to routing, weather, and material availability; we will confirm your delivery and notify you of any change.
You do not need to be home for delivery, provided we have safe, clear access to the porch or entry area. Materials are placed at the accessible entry area of the delivery address. Risk of loss, theft, damage, and deterioration transfers to you upon delivery.
Unless an approved design quote states otherwise, placing the tree and arranging the materials is your responsibility. Interior trees are always dropped off outdoors. Trees and stands are heavy and can tip or shift; handle with care. You assume responsibility for how materials are positioned, watered, or secured after drop-off.
7. Access, HOA & property requirements+
You are responsible for ensuring safe, unobstructed access to the delivery area on your scheduled date, including gate codes or entry instructions. If we cannot access the property, we will attempt to contact you and schedule one re-delivery attempt at no charge. If the second attempt also fails, each additional attempt incurs a $50 re-delivery fee.
Where an HOA, building management, landlord, or municipality restricts exterior decor, it is your responsibility to confirm approval before booking. Gourdgeous Porches is not responsible for removal requirements, fines, or penalties resulting from rules we were not informed of.
8. Substitutions & natural variation+
Trees and greenery are natural, seasonal, and subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute ribbon, ornaments, picks, greenery, or accent items of equal or greater value and comparable style when a specific item is unavailable. Exact tree shape, fullness, and height within the size you chose will vary. Photos on our website are representative, not exact, and are not a warranty of appearance.
9. Services+
All services are performed outdoors and apply to your porch display only. Interior trees are not styled, lit or taken down.
Design: available by quote only. The scope, price and terms of a design are set in the quote you approve.
Seasonal Removal: we return in January to remove the porch tree and greenery we delivered. Everything to be removed must be outdoors when we arrive; if you want an interior tree taken away, put it outside before your removal date. We do not remove customer-provided ornaments, lights or decor, or materials that have been relocated from the delivery property.
10. Display lifespan & freshness — no warranty+
Cut trees, wreaths, and garland are perishable natural products. Needle drop and drying vary with weather, sun exposure, wind, watering, and wildlife, and we do not guarantee any specific lifespan or continued appearance after delivery. Keep the tree stand filled with water. Normal seasonal changes — needle drop, browning, and drying — are expected and are not defects.
If materials arrive damaged or materially non-conforming, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will replace or credit the affected items at our option. This is your exclusive remedy for material defects.
11. Weather & rescheduling+
Weather differs across our markets — snow and hard freezes in Colorado and Nebraska; extreme heat in Arizona. We may reschedule a delivery, refresh, or removal due to unsafe conditions. We will contact you to arrange the next available date; weather-related rescheduling does not entitle either party to a refund. Your materials remain reserved for you.
12. Assumption of risk; limitation of liability+
Natural materials can be heavy, may harbor insects or mold as they age, can stain surfaces, and can become slippery when wet or decayed. You assume all risk associated with the presence, handling, and deterioration of delivered materials on your property, including trip hazards and staining of porches, steps, or walkways.
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) our services and materials are provided “as is” and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; (b) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages; and (c) our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. Except where liability cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, we are not responsible for damage to property arising from deliveries or add-on services, including staining, scuffing, or damage from the weight or placement of materials. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Gift cards+
Gift cards are issued in flat dollar amounts and are redeemable toward any Gourdgeous Porches purchase. Gift cards: do not expire and carry no fees; are not redeemable for cash except where required by law; are not reloadable; and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen except as required by law. Gift card redemption does not guarantee seasonal availability — bookings remain subject to service-area, season, and capacity limits, and unused balances carry forward to future seasons.
14. Photography of your display+
We may photograph completed deliveries and displays for our portfolio and marketing. Photos are framed to feature the display, not identifying details of your home, and we do not publish addresses. Let us know at booking if you prefer we not photograph your display.
15. Product images on our site+
What our photos show: Photography on this site and in our marketing shows past installations and styled displays. Images are representative of a look’s general scale and character, not a literal inventory of what will be delivered to your porch.
Add-ons may appear: Photographed displays may include paid add-on services and items — custom design, additional plantings, lighting, or seasonal extras — that are not part of the base tree. Add-ons are listed and priced separately at checkout.
Counts and materials vary: Item counts shown in photographs may differ from the counts included in your package. Natural materials vary by harvest and by season; sizes, colors, and varieties are selected from what is available and styled to look their best.
What governs your order: The written contents listed for your order at the time of booking — not any photograph — determine what is delivered.
16. General terms+
Governing law & venue: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules — provided that nothing in these terms deprives you of consumer protections you are entitled to under the laws of your state of residence.
Dispute resolution: Before filing any claim, the party asserting it must send written notice describing the dispute and allow 30 days for informal resolution — most issues can be resolved this way. Any claim not resolved informally shall be brought in the small claims court of the county where the service address is located, where the claim qualifies; claims exceeding small claims limits shall be brought in the state courts of the state where the service was provided. You and Gourdgeous Porches each waive the right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.
Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, crop failure or supplier shortage, labor disruption, or governmental action.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these terms stays in effect.
Changes: We may update these terms between seasons; the version in effect at the time of your booking applies to your order.
Agreement: By placing an order, you confirm you have read and agree to these policies.
