What to Expect on Delivery Day

You don't have to be home. You don't choose the date. And at some point during a two-week stretch, a truck pulls up and your porch stops being empty.

Here's the whole sequence.

You'll know your window ahead of time

Deliveries run late September through October. Each order gets a two-week window for its metro, and we confirm that window with you before the season starts.

Within it, routing is optimized across every delivery in the market, which is why the specific day isn't yours to pick. Windows can shift for routing, weather, or material availability; if yours moves, we'll tell you.

Access matters more than attendance

As long as we have safe, clear access to your entry, delivery happens whether you're there or not.

If there's a gate code, a locked side entry, a dog in the yard, or anything else between the truck and the door, send it ahead of time. If we can't get in, we'll try to reach you and make one more attempt at no charge; after that, additional attempts carry a $50 re-delivery fee.

What arrives, and where it lands

Fresh pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, and corn stalk bundles in the quantities your package includes, plus any add-ons you selected.

Materials are placed at the accessible entry area of your delivery address — set down near your door, in a spot that isn't blocking it. If you added professional design, or booked The Estate, the crew arranges everything before leaving. Otherwise arranging is yours, whenever you're ready.

If you ordered mums

Mums are the one thing we deliver that needs something from you immediately.

They want water starting the day they arrive — every day or two, more often in heat, wind, or direct sun. If you're traveling during your window, line up a neighbor. A mum left unwatered can decline within about a week, and mums that decline after delivery aren't replaced.

The Manor includes 4 and The Estate includes 6. Colors and varieties vary; we style to whatever the growers have at their best that week, so a specific color can't be reserved.

Look it over within 48 hours

Natural materials vary. Different sizes, shapes, and colors every season; that variation is expected and it's part of what makes the display look grown rather than manufactured.

Damage is a different thing. If something arrives damaged or materially not what was ordered, tell us within 48 hours and send photos. We'll replace the affected item, or substitute comparable material if the exact piece is gone.

The 48 hours matter. After materials have sat on a porch for a while, softening, color shift, and blemishing are ordinary seasonal change rather than defects, and there's no clean way to tell the two apart after the fact.

Then it's yours

Once delivery happens, responsibility for the materials transfers to you — how they're positioned, stacked, and secured, and whatever the weather and the wildlife do afterward.

Straw bales, large pumpkins, and corn stalk bundles are heavy and they can shift. Keep stacks stable, particularly anything near steps or anywhere children play.

When fall ends

If you added season removal, we return during the week you picked at checkout — the week after Halloween, or the week after Thanksgiving — and clear everything away.

If you didn't, disposal is yours. Removal is chosen as an add-on when you order, so it's worth deciding before you check out rather than after the pumpkins have gone soft.

Booking is open for Fall 2026. Choose your package, confirm your ZIP, and we'll take it from there.
